Art helps us to see in new ways.
Students explore different materials, tools, colours, shapes and techniques to express their ideas and experiences. They learn to look at things from different perspectives and develop their creativity and imagination.
Art tells stories about our world.
Through artworks and artists, students learn about different cultures, people, experiences and stories, including Singapore’s culture and heritage. This helps them develop appreciation, empathy and a deeper understanding of the world.
Art influences how we live.
Students discover how Art and design shape the spaces, objects and images we encounter every day. They develop visual awareness and critical thinking and learn how art can make a positive difference to our daily lives.
